Octomancer was our fresh mix of arcade, platformer, and multiplayer: build an underwater cove, defend it from waves of enemy octopuses, and merge crystals together to grow your magic. Players from all over the world competed to become the most powerful Octomancer in the ocean.

Brotagonists
Brotagonists was the two-person indie studio Daniel and Milan founded in Brno in 2020, during the quarantine. Octomancer was the game we built and published together.

Project director / Game programmer
After finishing his Master’s degree in Physics, Daniel decided to follow his lifelong passion for game making: YouTube tutorials, the Unity docs, then a few solo games. During the 2020 quarantine he partnered up with his friend Milan Švancara to start Brotagonists.
Milan Švancara
Art director / Producer
Milan (aka Svancara Strings) had been creating graphical art and music for over ten years. He specializes in orchestral music with a focus on storytelling, and treats art as a channel for sharing his stories and emotions, hoping to inspire the same feelings in others.
